The windshield washer fluid reservoir on most dodge passenger cars seems to be stuffed up in front of the wheel on the passenger side. Pretty much the only thing that was really further up on my charger is the actual crash bar. That’s between 8 and 16 pounds shaved off the front end just by emptying the washer fluid reservoir. Readers familiar with my blog know I’ve already gone so far as to delete the reservoir entirely.
Going to the track with a full tank? That’s around 100 pounds of weight! Running lower levels of fuel and carrying a gascan for the trip home can easily save you 75 pounds on the track, which on one of these heavy ass cars is around a 1-2 percent weight reduction.
